Job DetailsJob Location: Wellspring Hospice - Lorain, OH 44053Sprenger Hospice is looking for compassionate individuals that enjoy working with senior adults. As a STNA for Sprenger Hospice you will be responsible for providing basic patient care to promote patient comfort and support under the direction of a registered nurse.  Job Responsibilities   Provide basic personal care needs according to the patient care plan and under the direction of an RN  Documenting all duties in a timely manner  Attending required in services  Other duties as assigned  Job Requirements  You must have at least 1 year experience with direct patient care in home health, hospice, hospitals, and/or a long-term care facility.   Licensed by the state of Ohio; STNA must be in good standing   Valid driver's license along with reliable transportation   Must be willing to travel between homes and facilities   Must be able to work independently  Clear criminal background check   Demonstrates interest and empathy for the terminally ill and is comfortable with issues of death and dying  Possess strong communication skills and the ability to interact positively and professionally with patients, families and colleagues  Benefits Offered:  Health, Dental, and Vision   401K Plan   Benefits available after first 60 days of employment   PTO  Tuition Reimbursement  Job Type: Full-time  Qualifications:  STNA (Required)   Hospice or Home Health Agency experience preferred   Must possess interpersonal skills sufficient to interact effectively with patients and their families, as well as all interdisciplinary caregivers, peers, subordinates, and supervisors.  Must exhibit or demonstrate the ability to learn computer skills related to electronic clinical record documentation.   Must have reliable vehicle/transportation, valid drivers license and the required automobile insurance  Qualifications
