Description
Skylift is seeking a dependable and organized Shipping Coordinator to join our team. This position plays a key role in supporting our Parts Department by ensuring online parts orders are processed accurately and shipped efficiently to meet both company objectives and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Process, pick, pack, and ship in-stock parts orders.
- Work closely with Inside Parts Sales to expedite customer orders.
- Coordinate with fabrication and purchasing teams when parts are unavailable in inventory.
- Schedule and coordinate shipments using the most efficient and cost-effective methods.
- Ensure orders are shipped accurately and on time.
- Maintain inventory accuracy and organize shipping and receiving areas.
- Assist with receiving incoming materials and parts deliveries.
- Communicate shipment status and order updates with internal teams as needed.
- Operate material handling equipment safely and effectively.
Requirements
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic computer skills and experience with shipping systems preferred.
- Forklift experience is a plus.
- Experience driving a truck with a trailer is a plus.
- Ability to lift and move parts and materials as required.
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, logistics, warehouse operations, or parts distribution is preferred.
