We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Mortgage Arranger.
The Senior Mortgage Arranger role sits within International Wealth & Personal Banking and is based in our branch network. The purpose of the role is to establish and grow the Bank’s mortgage business by delivering a professional, customer-focused mortgage advice service to both new and existing customers. You will operate in line with the Bank’s Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) policy, providing high-quality, sales-driven support by identifying customer needs and recommending appropriate mortgage solutions.

In this role you will:

- Provide mortgage advice using the EDRAS-based sales process to identify, understand and manage customer needs, and produce comprehensive reports documenting the full advice journey.
- Submit mortgage applications supported by clear, concise and high-quality PARSERS to enable first-time approval.
- Identify new and innovative ways to drive mortgage growth, challenge process barriers, and collaborate with Product & Credit and other relevant teams to share best practice and unlock opportunities.
- Coach and develop branch-based colleagues to become consistent and effective lead sources (e.g., BDMs, RBMs, S&S Managers, Premier and UB teams).
- Manage mortgage and cross-sell opportunities end-to-end, with the ability to provide succinct weekly pipeline and performance updates.
- Recognise broader financial planning needs and refer customers to appropriate specialist areas across the Bank.
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

- Strong product knowledge, including mortgages and protection solutions.
- Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., full CeMAP or equivalent).
- Proven experience working to sales targets, with a willingness to be measured against sales performance.
- A continuous improvement mindset, focused on enhancing customer outcomes and service quality.
- Ability to achieve targets while motivating and supporting others to deliver results.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to explain complex information clearly to varied audiences.
- Experience managing budgets and using numerical data to assess performance, report outcomes, and identify risks and opportunities.
- Demonstrated capability to build, manage and grow customer relationships through strong commercial awareness and customer insight.
