Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Visitor Processing in Wilmington, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a financial institution location, you will welcome visitors, manage access control and badge processes, monitor entry activity, and support a professional, secure environment. Your customer service and communication skills will help create a positive experience while addressing security-related concerns. Pay Rate: $17.51 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, and guests at a financial institution reception area by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Welcome visitors, verify identification and appointment information, maintain visitor logs, and issue or collect visitor credentials in accordance with location requirements.
• Monitor access to the lobby and reception area, observe activity, and report suspicious, unusual, or unauthorized activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and communications, including incident reports, visitor documentation, and shift activity logs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
