About Brelle

“Energy for what moves us” defines our mission at Brelle. Based in California, Brelle engineers a modular energy platform for the world’s most demanding machines – supercars, superbikes and aerial systems. Our innovations are built on a novel battery pack architecture, a full-stack software platform, and automated manufacturing. Joining the team means working on making electric vehicles—on the road and racetrack—lighter, more engaging and safer.

About the Role

As Technical Program Manager, you will drive execution across Brelle's hardware and software development programs — coordinating across battery, firmware, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to keep complex, multi-discipline workstreams on track. You'll own the program cadence, surface risks early, and develop program plans that enable robust technology development.

This role requires technical fluency across hardware and software disciplines, and the organizational judgment to drive alignment across a fast-moving, multi-discipline team without adding overhead.

What You'll Own

  • End-to-end program planning and cross-functional coordination across battery, firmware, and vehicle integration development — from concept through production launch

  • Program milestones, dependencies, and critical path management across multiple concurrent programs

  • Risk identification and mitigation: surfacing technical and schedule risks early, driving resolution

  • Vendor and partner coordination: aligning external timelines (cell suppliers, contract manufacturers, customers) with internal development

  • Program reporting to leadership — status, decisions needed, and resource trade-offs

Preferred Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in technical program management in hardware-intensive environments

  • BS or MS in Engineering, or equivalent technical depth gained through hands-on program leadership

  • Direct experience managing electromechanical or powertrain development programs — ideally spanning HW, FW, and manufacturing

  • Strong understanding of product development processes: DFMEA, DVP&R, design release, and production validation

  • Comfortable engaging in technical discussions around schematics, CAD, and technical specifications

  • Experience in automotive, aerospace, motorsport, or other high-performance environments with tight timelines and high intensity

You Are...

  • Fundamentally Curious – You break complex problems down to first principles and are energized by hard problems worth solving at scale

  • A Builder of Exceptional Teams – You attract world-class talent, set exceptionally high standards, and create an environment where engineers do the best work of their careers

  • Autonomous and Decisive – You take ownership of ambiguity, make informed calls, and drive execution with conviction. You empower your team to do the same, creating a culture of accountability and bias for action
