About the Role

We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented Purchasing Assistant to support our Procurement Manager and broader purchasing function across our operating companies. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with vendors, numbers, and projects, and who thrives in a fast-paced office environment where accuracy and follow-through matter.


What You'll Do

• Process and track vendor credit applications and keep vendor records (W-9s, COIs, terms, contacts) up to date.

• Review fuel invoices, fuel card statements, and usage data; help identify pricing trends and discrepancies.

• Support purchasing projects — sourcing, vendor comparisons, PO processing, and cost-savings initiatives.

• Partner with Accounts Payable on invoice clean-up, statement reconciliations, and PO/invoice matching.

• Reconcile company credit card statements, code charges, and maintain the cardholder log.

• Process intercompany PPE purchases, track inventory and spend, and ensure accurate chargebacks.

• Provide day-to-day purchasing support and back-up coverage as needed.


What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, AP, or a related administrative/accounting role.

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred.

• Strong Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables); comfortable working in an ERP system.

• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.

• Competitive hourly pay: $25 – $30/hour, depending on experience.
