Duration: Approximately 3 months
The Waste Isolation Pilot Plant (WIPP) is the nation’s only permanent nuclear waste repository for defense-generated transuranic (TRU) waste generated from Department of Energy (DOE) sites across the country. Waste is permanently isolated over 2,000 feet underground in deep salt beds.
Job Description:
Duties shall include, but are not limited to:
- Reformat procedure writer policy guide.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 5 years of procedure writing or an Associate Degree with a minimum of 3 years of procedure writing experience.
- 10-15+ years of procedure writing experience desired.
- Procedure writing in a DOE environment is required.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word.
- Strong writing skills are a must.
- PPA Certification is a plus.
- Must be able to work with limited supervision.
- Knowledge of nuclear facility conduct of operations and or conduct of maintenance is a plus.
- You must be able to work under pressure in a competitive environment with strict deadlines.
