Up to $30,000 Sign-On Bonus for Eligible Candidates

Schedule: FT Days 8:30a-5p Rotating Weekends and Holidays

The Wound Care Registered Nurse provides specialized nursing care to patients with acute and chronic wounds in an outpatient clinic setting. The RN assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates wound treatment plans while collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to promote healing, prevent complications, and improve patient outcomes.

How you’ll contribute 

A Wound Care RN who excels in this role will:

  • Perform comprehensive wound assessments and document findings accurately
  • Administer wound care treatments, dressing changes, and therapeutic interventions according to established protocols
  • Educate patients and families on wound management, prevention strategies, and follow-up care
  • Monitor patient progress and communicate changes in condition to providers
  • Assist with debridement procedures and other wound-related treatments as appropriate
  • Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards
  • Coordinate care with physicians, case managers, home health agencies, and other healthcare professionals
  • Promote a safe, patient-centered environment and support quality improvement initiatives

 What we’re looking for 

Applicants should have a current New Mexico or Compact State RN license and possess an Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

  • Education: Bachelor of Science (BSN) preferred 
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire; ACLS, PALS, and Handle with Care preferred.
