Your RoleĀ 

Ā 

As a Gensler Architect, you will collaborate with our design team to develop innovative design solutions as well as coordinate the design through the construction documentation phase of a project. You will be successful because you already know how to translate an architect's sketches and documents into realized 2D/3D models and images and can research artistic and/or technical issues when they arise. You willĀ leverageĀ your technical acumen and Revit skills to drive client projects from concept throughĀ buildĀ in a collaborative team. Your role is critical in the design and delivery of world-class projects. What You Will DoĀ 

  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver informed project solutions based on marketĀ expertiseĀ and an understanding of client goalsĀ 

  • Documentation coordination with consultants (structural, MEP, lighting, AV, acoustical, accessibility, building envelope, life safety, etc.)Ā 

  • Coordinate with the project team, client, vendors, contractors, and consultantsĀ 

  • Resolve complex technical and design issues with team to produce innovative, technical, constructible solutionsĀ 

  • Direct production of drawings,Ā specificationsĀ and construction administration tasksĀ 

  • Responsible for delivery of documents with design intent and top-notch technical qualityĀ 

  • Process submittals/substitution requests during construction and address RFIsĀ 

  • Interface with building andĀ permittingĀ officials during the permitting and construction phases of the projectĀ 

  • ActivelyĀ participateĀ and contribute to the financial performance of projectĀ 

  • Review and contribute to proposals and contracts with the Design ManagerĀ 

  • Establish andĀ maintainĀ ongoing, productive client relationshipsĀ

Your QualificationsĀ 

  • Registered ArchitectĀ requiredĀ 

  • Bachelor’s degree in ArchitectureĀ from an accredited programĀ requiredĀ 

  • 5+ years of related experience, including demonstrated success on sports, data center, or advanced manufacturing projectsĀ 

  • StrongĀ proficiencyĀ in Revit, 3D modeling, visualization, and graphic softwareĀ 

  • Full knowledge of architectural principles/practicesĀ 

  • Working knowledge of building codes, standards, and building structuresĀ 

  • Experience with the entire project lifecycle and design process through post-occupancyĀ 

  • Flexibility to focus on concurrent projects in various stages of developmentĀ Ā 

  • Well-rounded, strategic thinker with an integrated approach to design, management, and technical project resolution who can help shape a vision for the futureĀ
