Plumbing Cable Technician

As a Cable Technician for L.A. Hydro Jet & Rooter Services for the Night Shift (1:00 PM Start Time) in the South Los Angeles area.

You will be responsible for assembling, installing, and repairing pipes, fittings, and fixtures of water and drainage sewage systems.

WHAT L.A. HYDRO-JET NEEDS FROM YOU:

• Clears blocked plumbing lines in commercial and residential buildings.
• Provide drain cleaning services for grease lines, urinals, difficult access lines, back-to-back lines, damaged lines, ejector pumps, and sump pumps.
• Repairs and maintains plumbing by replacing washers in leaky faucets, mending burst pipes, and opening clogged drains.
• Cuts openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings.
• Repairs plumbing fixtures, such as sink pipes, commodes, and garbage disposal unit pop-up assemblies and waste and overflows.

WHAT SETS YOU APART:

• 2 years of service and repair plumbing experience REQUIRED (residential or commercial).
• Basic mechanical knowledge is needed.
• Available During Training on Wednesdays for instruction in the Sun Valley office.
• Available After Training on Wednesdays for check-in at the Sun Valley office.
• Is consistently at work and on time.
• The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 200 pounds.

L.A. Hydro-Jet and Rooter Service determines compensation based on the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. Training pay will start at $20/per hour. After training, pay $21/per hour and 27% commission on jobs completed. Pay is based on a number of factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
