Supervisor, Environmental Services

POSITION SUMMARY:

Supervisor - EVS is responsible to ensure the effective and efficient cleaning of all public areas of the complex including internal, external, washrooms, front of the house, HOH and waste depot, in accordance with Studio City Minimum Cleaning Standards.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Checking the cleanliness of all public areas to ensure cleaning and presentation standards are consistent with established Minimum Standards, Standard Operational Procedures (SOP) and Studio City five star standards.
• Actively initiate and monitor training plane to ensure EVS Supervisors and EVS Attendance are properly trained to perform duties entrusted to them.
• Ensure all specialized cleaning programs are followed to maintain the presentation of the property to high standards.
• Manage the quality assurance program to ensure quality standards are maintained 24/7.
• Ensure all shifts are properly manned to carry out cleaning duties as per the SOPs arrange OT if required.
• Ensure all staff adheres to health and safety policies and procedures for the safety of the workers and guests.
• Communicating with fellow team members and other related departments to proactively service internal and external guests, and ensure their cleaning needs fulfilled.           
• To ensure all cleaning staff on shift complies with established grooming standards and Code of Conduct.
• Actively participate in health and safety activities to ensure that workplace hazards are minimised for the health and safety of all patrons and cleaning staff.
• Approve attendance in the payroll system ( Time Manager ) for the shift attendants
• Reporting and key-in defects into FCS system and follow up.
• To conduct daily briefing with the allocated teams.
• Upkeep and communicating maintenance issues to the maintenance team and proper follow through to their satisfactory completion
• Work closely with engineering department to ensure the property is being kept at all times in pristine condition.
• Work out preventive programs with engineering to ensure not only in upkeeping the quality standards but in intend of surpassing the standards
• Ensure the attitude and public demeanor all the EVS staff are a true representation of Studio City
• Acting also as part of the Studio City ambassador team while working in the public area
• Adhere to all Company policies and procedures.
• Report accidents, injuries, unsafe work conditions and / or security issues to supervisors
• Perform other reasonable job duties as assigned by supervisors from time to time

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience

• 2 years working experience with minimum 1 year in Senior Attendant

Education

• Secondary school certificate or equivalent professional training
• Fresh graduate is welcomed*

Skills / Competencies

• Patience
• Ability to follow through
• Ability to read and communicate in Cantonese / Mandarin / English
• Ability to work on flexible shift including overnight, weekends and holiday on rotation basis
• Ability to work on overtime when needed

Advantageous Skills

• Excellent interpersonal / presentation skills are preferred
