About The Position
 A multi-specialty clinic in California is seeking a skilled OB/GYN Physician Assistant for a 60-day locum tenens assignment. Starting on 06/10/2025, this role requires working Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with two Saturdays per month from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (compensated with a weekday off). The ideal candidate will be comfortable with clinic-based OB/GYN care, excluding deliveries. Responsibilities include seeing a mix of OB and GYN patients, performing follow-ups, IUD and Nexplanon insertions, Pap smears, and other standard clinic work. This position offers an excellent opportunity to provide comprehensive women's health care in a dynamic outpatient setting. The facility uses eClinicalWorks electronic health record system, and there is potential for assignment extension.

Responsibilities and Duties:
• Provide comprehensive outpatient OB/GYN care
• Conduct patient consultations and follow-up appointments
• Perform gynecological examinations and Pap smears
• Insert and remove IUDs and Nexplanon implants
• Manage prenatal care for obstetric patients (no deliveries)
• Diagnose and treat various gynecological conditions
• Utilize eClinicalWorks electronic health record system
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
• Adhere to all clinic policies and procedures
• Provide patient education on women's health and preventive care
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Additional Information:
• Must be licensed to practice as a Physician Assistant in California
• Experience in OB/GYN care required
• Strong clinical skills and ability to manage diverse patient populations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
