Job Description

As a Armed Security Officer Train Station Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and respond to security-related concerns. You will provide professional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $29.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to government location personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as assigned, and document visitor, incident, and patrol activity accurately.
• Maintain a professional armed presence while coordinating with site representatives and public agency personnel during security-related events.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least two years of security-related experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or a baton is preferred.
• Baton certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
