Role Purpose

As Associate, Workforce Transportation Stakeholder Services, you will help shape how the contractor workforce and marketing partners move around the Olympic and Paralympic Games. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Transportation, you will support the service level agreements, communications, and service design that keep these groups connected to venues in the years leading up to the Games. You will be a dependable point of contact, resolving questions and translating partner needs into practical transportation plans. This is grounded, cross-functional work that helps establish reliable service for thousands of teammates and partners before it exists at Games scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development and management of transportation service level agreements specifically for the contractor workforce and marketing partners.

• Serve as the primary transportation point of contact for contractor groups and marketing partners, managing communications and resolving inquiries.

• Assist in designing and implementing transportation service, working with the transportation operational teams to align load zones, parking, and shuttle services required for the contractor and partner workforce.

• Prepare and maintain detailed documentation, reports, and presentations on workforce and partner transportation plans for internal and external stakeholders.

• Contribute to transportation stakeholder-service processes as they are established, adapting as priorities, venues, and partner needs evolve toward Games time. (suggested — confirm scope with the hiring manager)

Required Competencies

• A Bachelor's degree in urban planning, transportation planning, or transportation engineering is preferred; equivalent work experience will also be considered.

• 2-3 years of relevant experience in transportation planning, event logistics, or large-scale project management.

• Demonstrated experience in stakeholder or client relationship management, with strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Valued Experience

• Experience working on large-scale events, particularly in a transportation or logistics capacity.

• Project management certification (for example, PMP) or formal training in project management methodologies.

• Experience using ArcGIS or similar mapping software.

• Familiarity with the transportation network and geography of the Los Angeles area.

What We Offer

• A historic opportunity to help deliver the Olympic and Paralympic Games and the transportation experience thousands of contractors and partners rely on.

• Visible ownership and broad, cross-functional exposure across transportation operations, stakeholder groups, and marketing partners.

• Transferable skills and durable career value from event logistics and large-scale planning that last well beyond the Games.

What This Role Means for the Games

Contractors and marketing partners help keep the Games running, and they can only do that if they can move reliably between sites. The plans and relationships you support help these teammates get where they need to be, when they need to be there.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

• Available to work onsite in our Downtown Los Angeles-based office.

• The majority of work will be conducted in an office setting, requiring extended periods of time using computers, phones, and other office equipment.

• The LA28 office is an open floorplan working environment; employees must be able to work efficiently in an open cubicle environment.

• Hours of work may vary, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, especially during peak event periods.
