Position Summary

Defense Holdings, Inc. (DHi) is seeking a Business Analyst to analyze business processes, identify areas for improvement, and provide data-driven recommendations to enhance operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have experience in business analysis, process mapping, and stakeholder management.

This role requires strong analytical skills, the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively, and experience in process optimization.

Key Responsibilities

Process Analysis & Improvement

  • Conduct detailed analysis of business operations and identify inefficiencies or areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement solutions to streamline processes and enhance productivity.
  • Create process flow diagrams and documentation to communicate process changes.

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Collect and analyze data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for business improvement.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for senior management with actionable insights.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of business initiatives.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and challenges.
  • Facilitate discussions and workshops with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose solutions.
  • Provide guidance and support to business teams during the implementation of new processes.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in business analysis or operations management.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau).
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in business analysis within government contracting or defense industries.
  • Knowledge of business process management (BPM) tools.
  • Certification in business analysis (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA).
