Cafeteria & Facilities Operations Coordinator (Korean Bilingual)



Position Summary

The Cafeteria & Facilities Operations Coordinator is responsible for overseeing daily cafeteria operations, vendor management, and compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations. This role serves as the primary liaison between the company, external vendors, and regulatory agencies, while also supporting internal operations such as staff coordination, documentation management, and expatriate support. The position ensures efficient, compliant, and safe operation of kitchen and facility-related services.


Key Responsibilities

  • Source and manage local food ingredient vendors and negotiate pricing and service agreements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for government inspections and regulatory correspondence (e.g., Health Department).
  • Ensure compliance with sanitation, disinfection, and waste management standards, including maintaining all required documentation.
  • Oversee kitchen and cafeteria security protocols, including access control and safety procedures.
  • Coordinate and lead meetings with external vendors (e.g., food suppliers, vending machine providers).
  • Manage inventory and distribution of employee uniforms, lockers, and related supplies.
  • Track and monitor attendance and break schedules for cafeteria and kitchen staff in compliance with labor regulations.
  • Maintain and organize operational records, manuals, and compliance-related documentation.
  • Oversee maintenance and upkeep of cafeteria and breakroom equipment and facilities.
  • Support expatriate employees with local settlement (e.g., housing, transportation, general administrative assistance).
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in facilities management, food service operations, or general administration.
  • Experience working with vendors and managing contracts or service agreements.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations (preferred).
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams, vendors, and regulatory agencies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with ERP or operational systems is a plus.
  • Bilingual (English/Korean)
