Concrete Laborer/General Laborer (LOS ANGELES, CA)

Looking for experienced concrete laborer/general laborer to join our team. Please only apply if you have a minimum of 7 years concrete experience. Reliable transportation and basic tools are required. Must be a team player whom works efficiently and effectively.

For over 25 years, Childs Play has been a construction company specializing in parks and recreation. Installing playgrounds, outdoor fitness equipment, skateparks, urban landscape, and much more. We are a family first, and work smart team.

Duties and Responsibilities:
-Assist in building and posting forms for pouring concrete and dismantles forms after use, using saws, hammers, nails, bolts or form hardware.
-Pour or place concrete.
-Install rebar, expansion joints, or carbon fiber.
-Apply finishing coat.
-Follow all safety protocols when using tools and equipment.
-Clean up worksite during and when the project is complete.
-Assist with general laborer duties as needed.
-Prevailing Wage projects.

Requirements and Qualifications:
-High school diploma or GED certificate
-7+ years of concrete or skilled labor experience preferred
-Knowledge of standard construction equipment and materials
-Must be able to lift (minimum 50 lbs)
-Reliable transportation
-Ability to perform strenuous tasks with your hands
-Ability to kneel, bend, and lift heavy materials
-Ability to measure accurately and read specifications
