Hadrian - Manufacturing the Future

Hadrian is building autonomous factories that help aerospace and defense companies manufacture rockets, satellites, jets, and ships up to 10x faster and up to 2x cheaper. By combining advanced software, robotics, and full-stack manufacturing, we are reinventing how America produces its most critical parts.

We recently raised $260 million dollar Series C to accelerate this mission. We are excited to launch a new Factory in Mesa, Arizona, a 270,000-square-foot facility that will create 350 new jobs immediately. We are opening a new headquarters to support thousands of future hires, launching Hadrian Maritime to serve naval production, and introducing a Factory-as-a-Service model that delivers complete systems instead of individual parts.

Hadrian works with startups, Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers, and major defense contractors across space, shipbuilding, and aviation to scale production, reduce costs, and accelerate delivery on mission-critical programs. We are backed by leading investors, including Lux Capital, Founders Fund, and Andreessen Horowitz. Our fast-growing team is united by a shared mission to reindustrialize American manufacturing for the 21st century and beyond!

We are in search of a Customer Integration Engineer with the drive to seamlessly onboard new customers and translate their requirements into actionable outcomes on the factory floor.

This role reports to Manager, Customer Integration and requires a technically adept engineer who can bridge customer needs with Hadrian’s manufacturing and software capabilities. The right person thrives at the intersection of engineering, manufacturing, and customer success—bringing clarity, structure, and urgency to complex integration programs.

If you’re passionate about building strong, value-based customer relationships, enjoy problem solving in high-stakes environments, and want to play a key role in scaling Hadrian’s customer integration engine, we’d love to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

  • Conduct gap analyses between customer requirements and Hadrian’s manufacturing capabilities, identifying and resolving discrepancies.

  • Define project scope and manage onboarding and operational programs from initiation through completion.

  • Work cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, sales, and quality teams to close identified capability gaps.

  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for new customers throughout the onboarding lifecycle.

  • Act as the voice of the customer on the factory floor, ensuring alignment between customer needs and factory operations.

  • Translate customer requests (e.g., PO expedites, revision changes, quantity updates) into clear and actionable factory tasks.

  • Interpret and apply customer and industry quality specifications to ensure compliance throughout the production process.

  • Support and facilitate customer audits and technical reviews as needed.

  • Partner with the sales team during customer demos, onsite visits, and technical discussions to represent operational capabilities.

What we’re looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or a relevant STEM field or equivalent combination of relevant professional and technical experience

  • 3+ year's relevant experience in aerospace, defense, or related manufacturing environments

  • Experience in onboarding production processes, systems and customers in a high-growth environment.

  • Proven experience managing and communicating directly with external customers and stakeholders

  • Familiarity with machining operations and experience working with very tight tolerances, and highly regulated industries

  • Ability for occasional travel up to 20% of the time.

What will set you apart

  • Basic knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).

  • Strong understanding of Quality Systems (AS9100, ISO9001, customer specific QMS)

  • Experience leading and completing Vendor and/or Customer quality audits

Compensation

For this role, the target salary range is $78,000 - $170,000 (actual range may vary based on experience and performance).

This is the lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.

Benefits

  • Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans for employees

  • 401k

  • Relocation support may be provided for certain situations, based on business need.

  • Flexible vacation policy
