Job Summary
Bloom Ads is seeking a highly strategic, technically fluent, and client-focused Director, Data & Analytics to lead the continued evolution of our data, measurement, analytics, and media intelligence capabilities.
This role will report to the SVP, Agency Integration and will provide leadership across three interconnected disciplines:
- Analytics & Insights
- Data Operations
- Media Activation & Intelligence
The Director will be responsible for building an integrated measurement ecosystem that connects media investment to business outcomes, enabling Bloom Ads and its clients to make faster, smarter, and more accountable marketing decisions.

This individual will help establish scalable frameworks for collecting, integrating, analyzing, and activating marketing data across paid media, CRM, commerce, web, app, and client-owned data environments. The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on analytical expertise and requires the ability to translate complex data into clear business recommendations for clients, agency leadership, account teams, and media teams.
Prior experience leading marketing analytics and measurement engagements within a marketing agency, media agency, advertising consultancy, or similar environment is required.
This is an in-office position based in our Woodland Hills office.
Analytics & Insights Leadership
- Lead and mentor a growing team of analysts and data professionals, establishing clear standards for analytical rigor, storytelling, and client impact.
- Develop and evolve Bloom Ads' enterprise analytics and measurement framework across clients, industries, and media channels.
- Lead the development and application of Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) to quantify marketing effectiveness, identify diminishing returns, optimize channel investment, and inform scenario planning.
- Develop closed-loop attribution frameworks that connect media exposures and engagements to downstream customer actions, including leads, sales, revenue, customer value, and other business outcomes.
- Establish measurement strategies that appropriately combine MMM, attribution, incrementality testing, experimentation, platform measurement, and business intelligence.
- Design and oversee campaign measurement, test-and-learn programs, geo experiments, holdout tests, A/B tests, incrementality studies, and other causal measurement approaches.
- Develop forecasting, response curves, optimization models, propensity models, segmentation approaches, and other statistical or machine-learning applications.
- Lead customer journey, CRM, digital analytics, website, mobile, app, social media, and user-level analyses where appropriate.
- Identify emerging analytical methodologies, technologies, and data sources that can improve client decision-making and agency differentiation.
Data Operations
- Oversee the processes and infrastructure used to collect, normalize, govern, and deliver data for reporting, analytics, modeling, and activation.
- Partner with internal teams and external technology partners to improve data quality, consistency, automation, documentation, and scalability.
- Establish standardized data structures and taxonomies across media platforms, ad servers, analytics environments, CRM systems, and client data sources.
- Ensure analytics teams have reliable access to clean, timely, and well-documented data.
- Develop quality assurance and governance processes for data pipelines, campaign taxonomy, reporting datasets, and model inputs.
- Work with cross-functional teams to reduce manual data processing and create repeatable, automated workflows.
- Help define Bloom Ads' approach to first-party data integration, identity resolution, privacy-conscious measurement, clean rooms, and other evolving data collaboration environments.
Media Activation & Intelligence
- Partner with media leadership to embed data and analytics into media planning, activation, optimization, and investment decisions.
- Oversee campaign activation workflows, including trafficking, naming conventions, taxonomy, UTMs, tagging, pixels, conversion events, and tracking implementation.
- Establish launch QA standards covering targeting, budgets, flight dates, creative assignments, destination URLs, tracking, and measurement configuration.
- Manage preview links, creative proofing, campaign approvals, and coordination across media, creative, ad operations, analytics, and technology teams.
- Monitor campaign delivery and data integrity to ensure impressions, clicks, conversions, revenue, and other key events are captured accurately.
- Translate MMM, attribution, incrementality, experimentation, and performance data into actionable media recommendations, audience strategies, and optimization decisions.
- Develop scalable media intelligence, governance, and automation processes that improve campaign execution, measurement, troubleshooting, and cross-channel performance.
Client & Agency Leadership
- Serve as a senior analytics and measurement partner to key clients.
- Work closely with clients, account leadership, strategy, media, creative, and activation teams to identify business challenges and determine the most appropriate analytical solutions.
- Translate complex statistical concepts and technical findings into clear, actionable business recommendations.
- Lead client conversations related to measurement strategy, attribution, MMM, experimentation, data infrastructure, and marketing effectiveness.
- Present analytical findings and recommendations to senior client stakeholders, including marketing, finance, analytics, and executive leadership.
- Develop strong relationships with third-party measurement vendors, platform partners, technology providers, and client data organizations.
- Partner with agency leadership to develop new analytics products, intellectual property, capabilities, and commercial offerings.
- Support new-business opportunities by helping demonstrate Bloom Ads' data, analytics, and measurement capabilities.

Who You Are
You are equally comfortable discussing marketing strategy with a CMO, measurement methodology with an analytics team, data architecture with technical partners, and campaign performance with media practitioners.
You understand that no single measurement methodology provides a complete answer. You know when to apply MMM, experimentation, closed-loop attribution, platform measurement, or user-level analysis—and how to triangulate those approaches to produce a more reliable view of marketing performance.
You enjoy building capabilities, not simply delivering analyses. You can establish frameworks, develop teams, improve processes, and create repeatable solutions that scale across multiple clients.
You are intellectually curious, commercially minded, and comfortable challenging established approaches when better data or methodology suggests a different direction.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in advanced analytics, marketing science, data science, measurement, or a related discipline, preferably within a media agency, marketing agency, advertising consultancy, or similar environment.
- 2+ years of experience managing and developing analytics, data science, or measurement professionals.
- Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, economics, data science, computer science, engineering, or another quantitative discipline; advanced degree preferred.
- Demonstrated experience developing and applying Marketing Mix Models in real-world marketing environments.
- Experience building or managing closed-loop attribution approaches that connect media activity with leads, transactions, revenue, or customer outcomes.
- Strong understanding of incrementality, experimental design, causal inference, attribution, media effectiveness, and marketing response modeling.
- Advanced proficiency in Python and/or R.
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with large, complex datasets.
- Experience with data wrangling, regression analysis, statistical modeling, machine learning, forecasting, and optimization techniques.
- Demonstrated experience translating analytical outputs into marketing and media investment recommendations.
- Experience working with DTC, commerce, lead-generation, or other data-rich clients.
- Strong understanding of media platforms, advertising technology, measurement platforms, and media terminology.
- Familiarity with major ad servers, DSPs, search platforms, social platforms, and analytics environments, including platforms such as Campaign Manager 360, DV360, The Trade Desk, Google Ads, Meta, and similar technologies.
- Experience developing dashboards, reporting frameworks, and business intelligence solutions.
- Strong executive communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to explain highly technical concepts in clear business language.
- Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced agency environment.
Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with commerce media or retail media measurement.
- Knowledge of modern attribution, identity, and privacy frameworks.
- Experience developing proprietary analytics products, methodologies, or agency intellectual property.
- Certifications or advanced familiarity with major advertising, analytics, and cloud platforms.
Leadership Expectations
The Director will:
- Manage, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary team across analytics and related data functions.
- Establish high standards for analytical quality, methodology, documentation, and communication.
- Build processes and capabilities that can scale across clients rather than relying on one-off solutions.
- Encourage collaboration across analytics, data operations, media, strategy, account management, creative, and technology teams.
- Create a culture of experimentation, curiosity, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Balance hands-on technical fluency with strategic leadership and client counsel.
Reporting Structure
