Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.Â
Once a month take on a PM shift for PM Supervisor and check-insÂ
Location: Los Angeles, CA Â
The Director of Clinical Services oversees all clinical operations within the assisted living community, ensuring high-quality resident care, regulatory compliance, and positive resident, family, and staff experiences. This role provides clinical leadership, supports Memory Care programming, and partners closely with the Executive Director to maintain excellence in care delivery. This is a very hands-on position.Â
What You’ll Do:Â
Provide clinical oversight for assisted living and memory care servicesÂ
Ensure compliance with CCLD regulations, licensing requirements, and internal policiesÂ
Conduct resident assessments, oversee medication administration, and review clinical documentationÂ
Plan, coordinate, and evaluate Memory Care programs and resident care servicesÂ
Collaborate with Executive Directors, nursing staff, physicians, and interdisciplinary teamsÂ
Communicate regularly with residents and families regarding care needs and changesÂ
Monitor infection control, workplace safety, and OSHA complianceÂ
Coordinate and conduct staff training, in-services, and performance reviewsÂ
Recruit, hire, onboard, and supervise care staff and licensed clinical personnelÂ
Manage care staff scheduling and provide on-call support as neededÂ
Support licensing surveys, plans of correction, and quality improvement initiativesÂ
Assume leadership responsibilities in the Executive Director’s absence when neededÂ
Step in as caregiver or medtech when needed Â
Report once a month during PM shift to check-in on PM employees Â
What You’ll Need to Succeed:Â
Degree from an accredited nursing programÂ
Current California RN or LVN licenseÂ
Minimum 5 years of supervisory healthcare experience, including 3 years in assisted living leadershipÂ
Strong knowledge of CCLD regulations and licensing complianceÂ
Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skillsÂ
Experience with Memory Care and dementia care preferredÂ
Current California DSS Administrator Certificate (or ability to maintain)Â
Adult First Aid certification requiredÂ
Must pass DOJ/FBI background check, health screening, and TB testÂ
Clean driving record requiredÂ
Must complete required Relias trainings monthlyÂ
