About the Role
This is an opportunity to join a well-established California employment litigation practice, handling employer-side matters across the full litigation lifecycle. You'll work on a wide range of cases — from single-plaintiff disputes to complex class actions and representative actions — while developing as a trusted advisor to clients.
What You'll Do
Manage day-to-day case components under partner guidance, working with meaningful early responsibility.
Draft, file, and argue pleadings and motions; prepare discovery papers.
Prepare deposition outlines and take or defend depositions independently.
Support mediation, settlement discussions, and trial preparation.
Apply California wage-and-hour law and PAGA considerations to case strategy.
Deliver responsive, empathetic client service and anticipate client needs proactively.
What We're Looking For
4+ years of employment litigation experience, including single-plaintiff California matters.
Experience on the management/employer side of employment disputes.
Demonstrated ability to take and defend depositions.
Experience drafting and arguing substantive motions (e.g., motions for summary judgment).
Familiarity with California wage-and-hour class actions and PAGA representative actions is a strong plus.
Active membership in good standing with the California Bar.
J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
Collegial, collaborative work style with an entrepreneurial mindset and appetite for early responsibility.
Ability to work in-office three days per week in either Los Angeles or San Francisco.

Compensation & Benefits
Base salary range: $255,000 – $330,000 USD annually.
Location
Hybrid — three days per week in-office. Primary location: Los Angeles, CA. The San Francisco office is also an option for the right candidate.
