Duties & Responsibilities:
路 Effectively acquire and develop new customers by direct contact.
路 Ability to maintain and grow client relationships for long term account sales.
路 Responsible for developing additional business through extraordinary customer service and rapport building, as well as managing existing client accounts.
路 Prepare and execute customer sales orders.
路 Involvement in creative aspects of event design.
路 Fully involved in preproduction, production, installation for events.
路 Oversee and direct Signature drivers and helpers for installation and set-up.
路 Maintain required record keeping and reporting of all sales and service activities.
路 Attend mandatory sales meetings and training sessions, as required.
路 Compose and respond to all correspondence (electronic, mail, phone) in a timely manner.
路 Perform other related duties as required.
路 Detects and eliminates or minimizes safety hazards.
路 Accurately recording and communicating customer orders.
路 Traveling throughout Southern California to various locations for event set-ups.
路 Manage a book of business.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
路 Ability to manage installation crews of various sizes on different event sites.
路 Extensive knowledge of Town and Country鈥檚 rental inventory.
路 Familiarity with tent installation, electrical requirements for off-site locations.
路 Thorough knowledge of city/county/state ordinances, restrictions, permits with relation to upcoming events.
路 Must be able to effectively communicate in person with clients, coordinators, vendors, security, and Signature personnel.
路 Must be able to meet required or exceed required sales goals, expectations, and objectives.
路 Ability to work on a team yet be self-starter in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
路 Ability to effectively communicate, orally and in writing, and make effective sales presentations with key decision makers within the event rental industry.
路 Ability to analyze and creatively solve problems.
路 At ease with conducting consultative sales calls.
路 Ability to develop relationships and maintain an active presence in the Event Rental community.
路 Responsible for promoting Town and Country as a leader in Event Rentals.
路 Making sales presentations to key prospects and customers while positively influencing the demand for company's service.
路 Possess superior organization skills and display excellent time management skills.
路 Ability to measure and diagram event sites accurately, noting all obstacles, potential conflicts, zoning restrictions and requirements.
路 Knowledge of modern office procedures and methods, including telephone communications, office systems, and record keeping.
路 Knowledge of modern business communication, including style and format of letters, memoranda, minutes, and reports.
路 Skilled use of a personal computer and various software packages.
路 Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision.
路 Ability to handle and resolve recurring problems.
Education and Experience:
路 Two years prior sales within Event Rental Industry
路 Extensive product knowledge of Event Rentals
路 Proven and successful sales skills.
路 High School Diploma or equivalent
路 A flexible schedule (must be able to work weekends).
路 Knowledge of Microsoft office programs.
路 Excellent communication skills.
路 Excellent time management skills
路 Must possess a valid California driver license (Class C) with an acceptable driving record.
路 Rental equipment knowledge (Tenting, lighting, tables, chairs and more).
路 Event industry experience preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
