You run the operational layer around the CEO. Scheduling, communications, research, follow-through, and whatever falls through the cracks before it becomes a problem. Judgment role. The calendar is the least interesting part.
The CultureYou will know more about how this company operates than almost anyone in it. That is a responsibility, not a perk. The pace is real. When something needs to happen today it happens today.
Who We Look ForWe hire for judgment, speed, and the ability to act without being asked.
The people who do well here have been the only person handling something — not one member of a large administrative team. They make good decisions when no one is watching. They communicate immediately when something needs attention and handle it quietly when it does not. They do not need recognition for things they fix before anyone else notices.
We will teach you our systems and priorities. We cannot teach you to anticipate, exercise discretion, or stay calm when three things are happening at once.
If you want predictable days and clear boundaries — this is not it. If you want to be genuinely useful to someone doing important work — there is a lot here.
The Salary$80,000 – $125,000. Where you land depends entirely on what you bring. If you are the right person we will find a way to make it work.
Why JoinBecause you are better at this than anyone knows and you want somewhere that figures that out fast. Because proximity to real decisions with real stakes sounds right to you.
You have directly supported a founder or CEO at a small company — not a large organization with administrative support around you. Local to Van Nuys, on-site five days a week. Not flexible.
