An Executive Assistant (EA) reports contributes to AHF by providing executive, administrative, and communication support to the President, helping maximize the President's effectiveness in leading the organization and advancing its mission. The Executive Assistant maintains a welcoming and professional presence and serves as a trusted partner in managing the President's day-to-day operations and priorities. Reporting to the Chief of Staff, this role works closely with leaders, departments, employees at all levels, Board members, and external contacts to ensure communications, scheduling, and administrative functions are handled efficiently and professionally.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, complex calendar management, serving as a liaison to the Board of Directors, coordinating travel, meetings, and event logistics, overseeing projects and initiatives, preparing monthly expense reports, preparing and documenting meeting minutes, and providing additional executive support as needed. This position requires domestic travel as needed  to support meetings, conferences, organizational events, and other business-related activities and tasks.

The ideal Executive Assistant will have at least five years of experience providing Executive Assistant support to Board-level executives, C-suite leaders, or similarly senior leadership teams.

The Executive Assistant enhances the reputation of AHF by understanding the value of effective time management, organization, and clear communication. This role contributes to the President's effectiveness by leveraging technology, streamlining processes, improving workflows, and ensuring information is organized, accessible, and communicated efficiently. Nimble and adaptable, the Executive Assistant responds effectively and applies strong problem-solving skills to evolving priorities and works collaboratively with individuals across the organization and external contacts while maintaining clear communication, strong organization, and attention to detail.
