Drain Right Services is looking for a skilled HVAC Installer who takes pride in delivering quality workmanship and exceptional customer service. We are seeking a dependable professional who can install residential HVAC systems safely, efficiently, and in accordance with all manufacturer specifications and local building codes.

Responsibilities

  • Install residential heating and air conditioning systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, mini splits, package units, and evaporator coils.
  • Complete change outs, new installations, ductwork modifications, and equipment replacements.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, job specifications, and installation instructions.
  • Ensure all installations meet California mechanical codes and manufacturer requirements.
  • Start up, test, and verify proper operation of installed equipment.
  • Perform airflow testing and basic system commissioning.
  • Complete installations with a focus on quality, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction.
  • Communicate professionally with homeowners throughout the installation process.
  • Maintain accurate job documentation, material usage, and installation notes.
  • Coordinate with warehouse staff and installation coordinators to ensure materials are available before each job.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked company vehicle.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines.
  • Participate in weekly meetings, safety training, and ongoing technical education.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of residential HVAC installation experience.
  • Strong knowledge of split systems, heat pumps, ducted systems, and mini splits.
  • Experience with duct fabrication and installation.
  • EPA Section 608 Certification required.
  • Valid California Driver License with an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Comfortable working in attics, crawl spaces, rooftops, and varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to use tablets and mobile applications for job documentation.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining company standards.

Preferred Qualifications

  • NATE Certification is a plus.
  • Experience with inverter systems and communicating equipment.
  • Experience with airflow balancing and static pressure testing.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
