Job DetailsJob Location: LOS ANGELES, CA 90045Salary Range: $150,000.00 - $180,000.00 Salary/yearSUMMARY:  The IT Security & Network Lead is responsible for managing all aspects of cybersecurity and network engineering for a distributed company with corporate headquarters, 17 manufacturing plants, 2 distribution centers and a remote sales office in North America.  The position is located is Los Angeles and currently required to work onsite 4 days per week, with remote work from home on Fridays.  ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.  • Oversee day-to-day management of the IT Security program including but not limited to: policies and procedures, security awareness training, social engineering simulations, vulnerability management, network penetration testing, firewall monitoring, incident response testing and patch management. • Co-chair IT Security governance and lead monthly presentations ensuring recent cyber threats / trends are proactively addressed. • Manage network and security solutions that reduce risk and enhance the protection of systems, applications and data. • Coordinate security design and support for manufacturing plant servers / PLC devices. • Identify and advise IT leadership on network and security technologies. Work with team to review and support existing network and security solutions. • Ensure network access is restricted and protects against unauthorized use or malware introduction. • Manage network firewalls, internet filters and remote access. • Monitor SIEM and endpoint protection to identify and resolve security incidents. • Manage user account authentication processes and group policies, along with SSO. • Run periodic / on-demand vulnerability scans and network penetration testing. • Lead and track remediation of vulnerabilities. • Assist with social engineering training campaigns and system support. • Maintain the IT Security document library. • Technical advisor to senior IT staff. Expected to stay current on the latest network and security trends. • Manage third-party vendors and external service providers as needed.
