This philosophy has garnered them an international following, two renowned cookbooks by Phaidon and multiple locations in Paris, London, Tokyo and Seoul.  Job Overview: At Rose Bakery, the Kitchen Assistant supports the Café Manager in maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen. Responsibilities include assisting with inventory control, managing garbage removal, and ensuring that health and safety standards are consistently followed throughout the kitchen. Key Responsibilities: Ensure thorough cleaning and sanitation of food preparation areas in accordance with safety and hygiene standards. Properly storing and washing all cooking appliances, utensils, dishes, etc. Aiding in meal preparation tasks including washing, cleaning, peeling, cutting, and chopping. Sweeping and mopping the kitchen floors as well as wiping down kitchen walls. Organizing and correctly storing food supplies. Transferring meal ingredients from storage areas to the kitchen as per the team’s instructions. Able to properly maintain Barista station with supplies and execute the drink menu daily. Key Skills: A highly motivated individual able converse with all levels both internally and externally. Self-starter, able to set the standard by their own professionalism and attitude. Must be energetic, self-motivated, self-organized and a team player. Willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done. Decisive, structured and organized, with a keen eye for detail. Punctual, possesses excellent time management skills. Flexible, adapts to the every changing needs of the business. Possesses an enthusiasm and a passion for the Rose Bakery philosophy. Key Requirements: Prior experience working within a restaurant, café, or other hospitality sector preferred. Strong comprehension of food safety and sanitation protocols. Understanding of food preparation and storage requirements. Strong and effective communication skills. Ability to stand for long period of time. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.   Qualifications
