Key Responsibilities
Design, manage, and secure IT infrastructure across on‑premise, network, and cloud environments; oversee system updates, backups, and disaster recovery.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance and availability, resolving outages and technical issues with minimal operational impact.
- Automate IT operations and workflows using scripting, DevOps, and cloud tools to improve efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
- Lead IT support operations and staff, setting standards, mentoring team members, and ensuring high‑quality end‑user support and service delivery.
- Drive responsible AI adoption and innovation, identifying practical AI solutions, ensuring ethical use, training staff, and maintaining documentation and compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3–6+ years of experience in systems engineering, IT infrastructure, or a related role
- Experience leading IT support staff or help desk operations preferred
- Exposure to or experience implementing AI or automation solutions in a business or nonprofit setting preferred
- Relevant certifications are a plus, such as:
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator
- Cisco CCNA/CCNP
- CompTIA Network+ or Security+
- Experience working in a nonprofit or mission-driven environment, preferred.Â
- Commitment to ethical, equitable, and responsible use of technology, including AI, preferred.
- Ability to balance infrastructure responsibilities, team leadership, and innovation initiatives, preferred.
- Experience operating in resource-constrained environments with competing priorities, preferred.
