This role is responsible for actively training coaches on-site, reinforcing UFIT standards in real environments, and working directly with our internal developer to build and refine the systems that power training, assessments, and performance tracking.

This is not a passive coordination role. This position is responsible for ensuring training is executed, measured, and continuously improved in real time across schools.

You will work directly with:

  • Coaches (hands-on training and accountability)
  • Leadership (performance and standards)
  • Our internal developer (building training + tracking systems)

Key Responsibilities

      • Transitions (signal → direction → countdown)
      • SEL language and behavior management
      • Structured gameplay and lesson execution
    • Conduct real-time corrections, modeling, and feedback
    • Run onboarding shadow shifts and certify coaches for deployment
    • Ensure coaches are executing UFIT standards consistently across all sites
    • Lead monthly trainings, workshops, and in-service sessions
    • Build ongoing development plans for coaches and leadership staff
    2. Performance Evaluation & Accountability
    • Observe coaches and complete structured evaluations
    • Identify performance gaps and implement targeted retraining plans
    • Track coach performance using measurable standards (engagement, transitions, structure, SEL use)
    • Partner with leadership to address under performance quickly and effectively
    • Work directly with the internal developer to:
      • Design and improve UFIT’s training and tracking software
      • Define workflows for:
        • EOD reporting
        • Coach assessments
        • Incident tracking
        • Performance scoring systems
    • Translate real coaching operations into clear product requirements
    • Test and validate system functionality in real-world environments
    • Ensure the platform supports scalability to 100+ schools

         3. Training System Development and On-boarding

                  Build and refine:

    • Training SOPs
    • Coaching manuals
    • Certification pathways
    • Role-based training systems (Assistant Coach → Head Coach progression)
    • Convert field observations into repeatable training systems
    • Continuously improve onboarding and training efficiency
    • Manage onboarding and training schedules across multiple sites
    • Maintain audit-ready documentation
    • Ensure all staff meet UFIT and school district compliance standards

Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience in training coordination, HR, L&D, operations, or program management
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • High attention to detail and strong follow-through
