What you will be doing: - Assist in handling all phases of civil litigation matters from inception through resolution.
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and other legal documents.
- Conduct legal research and prepare case analyses.
- Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
- Manage discovery, including document review and production.
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and witnesses.
- Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on case strategy and litigation management.
Experience you will need: - J.D. from an accredited law school.
- Active admission to the California Bar, or eligibility for admission.
- 2–6 years of civil litigation experience. Candidates with 1 year of litigation experience will also be considered.
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Excellent oral advocacy and communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in professional liability, securities, or employment litigation
- Deposition, motion practice, and courtroom experience.
- Strong organizational and case management skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
