Location: Hybrid
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary Range: $70,000–$90,000 annually
About the Role
We are looking for a smart, logical and sensible individual who’s good with operating metrics and will enjoy talking to colleagues about improving operational performance based on the data. This individual should be curious, enthusiastic and find stimulation in driving improved performance. Our aim is to optimize patient experience through excellence in operating proficiency.
In this role you will use real-time and forward-looking data to monitor patient distribution, staffing levels, scheduling strategies, and performance by fifty or more dental offices in treating large numbers of patients every day. You will communicate regularly with office and regional level leadership with the aim of improving dental office operations and patient satisfaction. You will also interact with sophisticated data analysts, IT professionals, financial professionals, clinical professionals and others.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys looking at the data, identifying trends, recognizing behavior, and partnering with teams to turn insights into action.
What You’ll Do
- Review appointment practices and strategies in relation to patient levels and flows.
- Partner with Office Managers to adjust practices daily and future planning practices.
- Analyze scheduling and operational data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain reports and analytical tools to support operational decision-making.
- Translate data into clear, actionable recommendations for office and operational leadership.
- Monitor results and help identify whether operational changes are producing the desired outcomes.
- Communicate findings clearly to both analytical and non-technical audiences.
- Support a data-driven culture by helping leaders understand and effectively use business information.
- Work collaboratively with others to improve overall practice efficiency and patient experience.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate is someone who loves data and understands that data is only valuable if and when it leads to action.
Required/Preferred Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and spreadsheets.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Logical thinker with the ability to identify patterns and connect information.
- Ability to analyze information and translate it into practical recommendations.
- Comfortable working with real-time information and changing priorities.
- Ability to work independently while also partnering effectively with office managers and leadership.
- Healthcare or dental industry experience is a plus, but it is not required.
The Ideal Candidate
You may be a great fit if you:
- Naturally ask “Why?” when you see a number that doesn’t make sense.
- Enjoy finding patterns and trends others may overlook.
- Can take complicated information and turn it into a simple story.
- Are comfortable challenging assumptions with facts and data.
- Don’t just identify a problem—you look for the solution.
- Can communicate effectively with people who may not have an analytical background.
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where your work directly impacts business results.
