Workplace

Work in a FQHC multi-disciplinary community clinic with primary care optometry service.
State-of-the-art equipment and facility (digital refractor, Maestro-2 OCT and retinal camera, HVF, virtual field VF, etc.)
In-house part-time ophthalmologists for co-management and referral triage
Schedule: Monday to Friday. Last appointments at 4:00pm.

Duties and responsibilities

Provide outpatient care for patients with eye-related disorders and conditions.
Conduct routine eye examinations and prescribe corrective lenses when required.
Assist with contact lens fittings.
Diagnose and assist with the management of ocular diseases.
Educate patients about proper eye hygiene and care.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

State-issued license for optometry and O.D. and 3+ years’ experience working as an optometrist.
Excellent customer service and organization skills.
Advanced time management skills.
