Pay Range:  $100 per hour for fitness classes and $30 per hour for floor support. 

Location: 100 N Pacific Coast Highway El Segundo, CA  at the beautiful Union House

Work Hours: You will be regularly scheduled for approximately 1–2 hours per week for fitness classes. Additionally, ideal candidates will have availability to support on an as-needed basis to cover consecutive-day shifts (either 6:00 AM–2:00 PM or 11:00 AM–7:00 PM) at $30/hour when the on-site manager is on PTO. Please include your availability in your application.

Your Mission:

Your mission as a certified Personal Trainer and Mat Pilates Instructor is to work directly with employees in a professional corporate gym environment, delivering personalized training sessions and group Pilates classes. You'll hold floor hours to support members, build relationships across the organization, and help foster a healthy, energized workplace culture.

What You're Responsible For:
  • Personal Training Delivery: Design and deliver one-on-one personal training programs tailored to individual goals, fitness levels, and physical limitations. Track client progress, adjust programming as needed, and maintain accurate session documentation to support measurable results.
  • Group Programming: Lead engaging Mat Pilates classes for employees with varying experience levels, providing clear instruction with attention to proper alignment, technique, and safe movement patterns.
  • Fitness Floor Support: Maintain scheduled floor hours to assist gym members, demonstrate equipment usage, and provide on-the-spot coaching to ensure safe and effective workouts.
  • Safe Movement and Coaching Support: Apply strong body mechanics knowledge to assess movement patterns, correct form, and reduce risk of injury through proactive coaching and observation.
  • Member Engagement: Build rapport with corporate employees and adapt communication style to align with a professional workplace environment while supporting a welcoming and approachable fitness experience.


Baseline Requirements:
  • 1+ years of experience delivering personal training and group fitness instruction. Experience working in a corporate fitness, hotel gym, or professional wellness setting is a plus. 
  • Current Personal Training certification (NASM, ACE, ACSM, NSCA, or equivalent)
  • Mat Pilates certification from a recognized training program. Additional specializations such as corrective exercise, pre/post-natal, or yoga is a plus. 
  • Strong foundation in functional anatomy and body mechanics, with the ability to coach safe movement and explain techniques clearly
  • Friendly, professional presence with the ability to build rapport in a corporate workplace environment
  • Flexible availability, including early mornings, lunchtime hours, and/or evenings to support employee schedules
  • Current CPR/AED certification
