Overview

Cordoba Corporation is a leading engineering and program management firm based in California. We are seeking a Project Support III to join our Gas sector. This position plays a critical role in managing document control and project support functions across multiple engineering initiatives within the gas utility sector. This role ensures compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements by developing and maintaining document control procedures and overseeing project closeout deliverables. Acting as a liaison between engineering, procurement, and construction teams, the coordinator drives process improvements in data management and reporting accuracy. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, organized, and experienced in mentoring junior staff while supporting efficient project execution.

Responsibilities

  • Lead document control and project support activities across multiple engineering projects, ensuring alignment with oil and gas industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain document control procedures, ensuring regulatory and contractual compliance.
  • Oversee project closeout documentation, including turnover packages and final deliverables to clients
  • Serve as a primary liaison between engineering, procurement, and construction teams for document and data management.
  • Implement process improvements for document workflows, data tracking, and reporting accuracy.
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior project support staff.
  • Visit field sites occasionally based on project needs.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in document control, project coordination, or procurement support within an oil and gas or engineering environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline preferred
  • Expertise in engineering document control, procurement documentation, and regulatory compliance
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to manage large volumes of project data
  • Demonstrated ability to lead document control efforts in a fast-paced, multi-project environment
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, document management platforms, and ERP systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

 

Pay Range: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour

 

Work Location: Hybrid 3-4 days per week in the Los Angeles, CA office

 

Visa Sponsorship: Legal authorization to work in the U.S.A. on a full-time basis without sponsorship

 

Physical Requirements: Ability to pass a pre-authorized physical including a drug-screening and background check
