Job Summary and Responsibilities

As a Radiation Tech, you will perform diagnostic imaging procedures, producing high-quality images for accurate diagnosis and treatment, operating complex equipment while ensuring patient safety.Every day you will interact with patients, explain procedures, position them correctly, and monitor their well-being. You will also maintain records, adhere to safety protocols, and collaborate with healthcare professionals for optimal care.To be successful, you need exceptional technical proficiency, understanding of anatomy and imaging, and compassionate patient care.

  • Responsible for upholding Dignity Health's visions, values and guiding principles.
  • Responsible for maintaining positive morale levels in areas supervised.
  • Communicates in a positive and effective manner with customers and staff.
  • Responsible for technical knowledge of Radiation Oncology.
  • Responsible for up keeping all stock and par level in the Radiation Oncology.
  • Delivers accurately the prescribed planned course of Radiation Therapy with minimal supervision.

Job Requirements

Required

  • Basic Life Support - CPR
  • Fluoroscopy Radiology Tech: CA
  • Fire Safety, within 90 Days and
  • Registered Technologist Nuclear Medicine Technology or
  • Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist, upon hire

Preferred

  • Completion of JRCERT approved program in Radiation Therapy
  • Minimum 1 year of Radiation Therapy experience
  • Registered Radiation Therapy Technologist: CA  and
  • Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT
