 QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or marriage and family counseling
  • Licensed with a minimum of 2 years post-licensure experience in the mental health field, with the ability to provide clinical supervision
  • Strong clinical skills with proven experience working with high-needs children and families
  • Excellent communication, organizational, computer, leadership, and supervisory skills
  • Valid California driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance required

 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Train and supervise unlicensed and licensed therapists
  • Ensure documentation is completed in a timely manner (Welligent, PS. IEPs, etc) 
  • Assigning and overseeing therapist caseloads 
  • Tracking productivity and problem solve to address issues as needed
  • Crisis management/assess students when self-harm or harm to others statements are made 
  • Meet with students for social emotional needs
  • Consult with team and outside providers when needed
  • Prepare IEP documentation and attend IEPs
  • Collaborate with treatment team to work on social emotional goals and behavior support plans
  • Advocate for students and families regarding social emotional assessments and counseling services/provide data to school districts 
  • Responsible for staff development/lead weekly clinical dept meetings
  • Attend weekly staff meetings (SD, etc)
  • Perform administrative duties/consult with school and outside staff
  • Conduct team meetings with families as needed
  • Consult with Director of behavioral services regarding crises
  • Complete incident reports when indicated 
  • Attend re-entry meetings for students 
  • May have a small caseload to provide direct services

The salary range represents the low and high end of the salary someone in this role may earn as an employee of Help Group. Salaries will vary based on various factors, including but not limited to, professional and academic experience, certification, training, responsibilities of the position, and other business and organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees. Salary decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each hire.
