Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Reception Arrival Management in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at an education location, you will serve as a welcoming, visible presence for students, staff, and visitors. You will manage access, observe activity, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and clients by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at an educational location.
• Staff the front desk, greet and direct visitors, verify access credentials, and maintain visitor logs in accordance with site requirements.
• Monitor entrances, lobby activity, cameras, alarms, and communication systems, reporting unusual or unauthorized activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and emergency procedures.
• Assist with access control, visitor management, package handling, and general security-related information requests while maintaining a professional presence.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
