Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Documentation in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, communicate professionally with staff, patients, and visitors, and provide exceptional customer service. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or clients while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facility interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or potential hazards.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction, access control procedures, and reporting of unauthorized activity.
• Document incidents, observations, and/or patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
