Our Los Angeles office is seeking a Senior Employment Attorney to handle a wide array of complex civil litigation matters including, but not limited to, employment litigation. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, a great team player, has a positive attitude, and who will develop strong relationships with our large client base while providing quality and effective representation. While you will be partnered with supportive mentors, ideal candidates must be able to operate independently with limited need for supervision.   About Us: With over 45 years in the California legal industry and six offices statewide, our firm was founded on a commitment to customer service that has flourished within our culture of inclusion and diversity. Our business hours are 8:30am-5:30pm Monday-Thursday, 8:30am-5:00pm Friday.   Compensation: $175,000-$250,000/annually + Bonus   Responsibilities: Provide legal representation to clients, assessing the facts and issues of each scenario and counseling clients appropriately Advise clients on federal and state employment laws, wage and hour issues, harassment, disability, discrimination and wrongful termination claims and workplace restraining orders Research and draft motions, employment agreements, employee occupancy agreements, termination agreements, employee contracts, employee handbooks, and workplace policies Provide litigation defense or prosecution of civil claims Respond to client concerns to increase and retain business Participate in industry organizations and affiliated committees to increase the firm’s visibility in the community and within the industry Represent the firm internally and externally Other duties as needed to support the legal and management goals of the department The successful candidate will be required to make court appearances and attend meetings in Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego and the Inland Empire. Qualifications: We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications: J.D. and an active California Bar license 7-10+ years attorney experience Experience in Employment Law and/or Employment Litigation Ability to communicate regularly with clients on a range of practice group topics Ability to multi-task and operate against inflexible deadlines both in a team environment and independently Excellent attention to detail Strong analytical, research, and writing skills Ability to work collaboratively with others Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail and ability to manage and reprioritize caseload Commitment to professional development and continuous learning The following qualifications are preferred: Experience with Real Estate Litigation Experience with ProLaw or other billing and document management program We currently offer a hybrid work model for select positions within the Firm. New hire employees who are offered a hybrid schedule will complete the majority of their onboarding and training in-office as deemed necessary for the position by the firm before transitioning to a hybrid schedule, subject to approval by their supervisor.   Why Work for Us?
