About Kinn
Kinn Studio is a fine jewelry brand in its ninth year, built on the belief that luxury is what you keep, not what you wear once. We sell direct-to-consumer and through our retail stores in Culver City and New York, with a third location underway. We are scaling toward our next stage of growth and building the team and infrastructure to get us there.
About the Role
Kinn is looking for an experienced Senior Production Coordinator to help lead the day-to-day execution of our jewelry production operations at our downtown Los Angeles HQ.
Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager, this role works hands-on alongside the Production Coordinator while taking greater ownership of production timelines, manufacturer relationships, quality control, repairs, and day-to-day problem solving. You’ll help set production priorities, guide the Production Coordinator, and ensure jewelry moves through production accurately, efficiently, and on time.
This is a hands-on role for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and ready to take greater ownership within a growing production operation.
What You’ll Do
- Own and manage day-to-day production timelines, priorities, and manufacturer follow-up.
- Work alongside the Production Coordinator across production, inventory, quality control, repairs, and logistics.
- Serve as a primary day-to-day contact for manufacturers and suppliers, proactively resolving quality, timing, and production issues.
- Perform hands-on quality control while identifying recurring issues and opportunities to improve product quality and manufacturing.
- Manage repair, resize, engraving, and custom order workflows from intake through completion.
- Help set daily priorities and provide guidance and support to the Production Coordinator.
- Monitor raw materials, gemstones, and finished goods inventory and help prevent production shortages or delays.
- Coordinate the secure movement of jewelry, gemstones, raw materials, and finished goods between Kinn HQ and manufacturing partners.
- Partner cross-functionally with Design, Operations, Customer Experience, and Fulfillment to resolve production needs and delayed orders.
- Participate in product development and provide insight into manufacturing capabilities, product functionality, cost, and production feasibility.
- Identify opportunities to improve production workflows, SOPs, quality standards, and operational efficiency.
- Support production, inventory, and fulfillment during peak business periods.
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5+ years of experience in jewelry production, manufacturing, product operations, or a related field.
- Fine jewelry or luxury product experience strongly preferred.
- Experience working directly with manufacturers, vendors, and suppliers.
- Strong understanding of production workflows, quality control, inventory, and logistics.
- Exceptional organization and attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to take ownership of issues through resolution.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and confidence working across internal teams and external partners.
- Comfortable providing guidance to a more junior team member while remaining highly hands-on in the work.
- High level of judgment and discretion when handling high-value products and sensitive information.
You’ll Thrive Here If
You’re someone who sees a problem and takes ownership of solving it. You’re comfortable working in the details, but you can also see the bigger picture and identify ways to make the process better. You enjoy being hands-on, working closely with manufacturers, and helping a growing team operate with greater consistency, quality, and efficiency.
