Role description:
Role accountabilities:
- Oversee all phases of architectural data center projects from inception to completion
- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets
- Coordinate and manage project teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors
- Ensure all work complies with relevant regulations and standards
- Maintain accurate project documentation and records
- Communicate regularly with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the project
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure work is progressing as planned
- Prepare and present project reports and updates to clients and senior management
- Ensure all project deliverables are completed on time and within budget
- Manage project risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Review and approve project designs, plans, and specifications
- Provide leadership and guidance to project team members
- Ensure high standards of quality and safety are maintained throughout the project
- Coordinate with local authorities and regulatory bodies as required
- Manage project resources and allocate tasks effectively
- Conduct post-project evaluations and identify areas for improvement
- Stay up to date with data center industry trends and best practices
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, or a related field
- Professional certification or license in architecture or project management
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing complex data center projects
- Strong knowledge of data center architectural design and construction processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Proficient in project management software and tools
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards
- Experience with budgeting and financial management
- Ability to read and interpret architectural plans and specifications
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills
- Proactive and self-motivated
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

Arcadis offers benefits for full time and part time positions. These benefits include medical, dental, and vision, EAP, 401K, STD, LTD, AD&D, life insurance, paid parental leave, reward & recognition program and optional benefits including wellbeing benefits, adoption assistance and tuition reimbursement. We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $120,000 - $180,000. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
