Senior Human Resources Manager
Location: San Bernardino, CAÂ
Compensation:Â $120,000 - $145,000 + bonus
Reports To: Vice President of Human Resources & People

Archer Meat Snacks, one of the fastest-growing meat snack brands in the Natural and Specialty Channel, is looking for a Senior Human Resources Manager to provide strategic and operational HR leadership across our Southern California manufacturing operations.
Reporting directly to the Vice President of HR & People, you'll oversee Human Resources for two production facilities while leading two HR Managers and partnering closely with Operations, Finance, Talent Acquisition, Safety, and Executive Leadership. This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for strengthening employee engagement, driving organizational effectiveness, coaching leaders, improving HR operations, and ensuring compliance across a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What You'll Own & Impact
Multi-Site Human Resources Leadership
- Provide strategic and operational HR leadership across Archer's two Southern California production facilities.
- Lead, coach, and develop two Human Resources Managers while fostering consistency, accountability, and professional growth across the HR team.
- Partner with Plant Leadership to align people strategies with operational objectives while supporting continued organizational growth.
- Drive consistency across HR programs, policies, procedures, and employee experience throughout both facilities.
Employee Relations & Leadership Partnership
- Serve as the primary advisor to leaders on employee relations, performance management, investigations, corrective actions, conflict resolution, and organizational effectiveness.
- Lead complex workplace investigations while ensuring fair, consistent, and legally compliant outcomes.
- Coach leaders through performance conversations, leadership development, workforce planning, and organizational change.
- Build trusted relationships across all levels of the organization while maintaining a strong presence within both manufacturing facilities.
HR Operations & Compliance
- Oversee HR operations including policy administration, compliance, leave of absence management, workplace accommodations, workers' compensation, payroll oversight, and HR systems.
- Ensure compliance with federal, California state, and local employment laws while minimizing organizational risk.
- Continuously improve HR processes, documentation, workflows, and operational efficiencies.
- Support HRIS optimization, reporting accuracy, data integrity, and process automation initiatives.
Talent & Organizational Development
- Partner with Talent Acquisition on workforce planning, recruiting strategy, onboarding, succession planning, and leadership development.
- Help build programs that improve employee engagement, retention, and overall organizational capability.
- Develop and monitor HR dashboards, workforce metrics, and analytics to support business decisions.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement across employee programs, policies, and leadership practices.
Cross-Functional Partnership
- Partner closely with Operations, Safety, Finance, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, and Executive Leadership to support business initiatives.
- Provide strategic HR guidance during organizational changes, workforce planning, and business expansion.
- Help establish scalable HR processes that support Archer's continued growth.
What Sets You Apart
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 8+ years of progressive Human Resources experience with leadership responsibility.
- Experience supporting multiple manufacturing, food production, distribution, or CPG facilities.
- Experience leading and developing Human Resources professionals.
- Strong employee relations experience including investigations, performance management, conflict resolution, and employment decision-making.
- Strong knowledge of California employment law including FMLA, CFRA, ADA, wage and hour regulations, and workplace accommodations.
- Experience leading HR operations, HR process improvement, policy development, compliance, and HRIS optimization.
- Demonstrated ability to influence leaders and partner effectively with Operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Professional fluency in both English and Spanish.
- Strong analytical, communication, coaching, and leadership skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now or similar HRIS platforms preferred.
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred.
- Master's degree preferred.
