About the Role
This is a high-leverage Strategy & Operations role sitting directly alongside the CEO at a fast-growing AI insurtech company. You'll help build and scale the systems, processes, and teams that power end-to-end insurance claims management — with a clear path into leading a core business area.
What You'll Do
Own strategic projects and special initiatives in close partnership with the CEO.
Design and formalize claims operations — including process architecture, hiring plans, and workflow tooling — as the business scales rapidly.
Build scalable, data-driven processes that optimize product and operational workflows.
Lead cross-functional problem solving across product, engineering, and business teams.
Context-switch across diverse, high-impact initiatives, bringing structure and clarity to each.
What We're Looking For
2+ years at a top-tier management consulting firm (MBB), bulge-bracket or elite boutique investment bank, or top-tier private equity / growth equity firm.
Demonstrated experience in unstructured environments — e.g., an early-stage startup (Series A–C or earlier), a chief-of-staff role, or an entrepreneurial / co-founder track record.
Exceptionally structured, data-driven thinker with strong attention to detail.
Confident operating independently on ambiguous problems with minimal direction.
Strong cross-functional communicator who builds trust quickly across customers, teammates, and partners.
High-intensity operator who thrives in fast-moving, high-growth environments with frequent context-switching.
Strong undergraduate academic foundation, or demonstrated equivalent achievement (e.g., breaking into top-tier finance or consulting from a non-traditional background).
Based in or willing to relocate to San Francisco, CA, and available for five days per week on-site.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary: $100,000 – $150,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
Location
On-site, five days per week in San Francisco, CA.
