Territory Sales Manager – Capital Healthcare Solutions

Location:Β Remote – Must reside in Los Angeles County, CA

InnerSpace is a leader in innovative clinical storage and workspace solutions designed to improve efficiency, organization, and patient care throughout healthcare facilities.

We are seeking a high-performing Territory Sales Manager to drive growth within an established Southern California territory. This consultative capital sales role partners with hospitals, health systems, architects, equipment planners, contractors, and distribution partners to deliver customized storage solutions for new construction, renovation, and equipment replacement projects.

Our solutions are utilized throughout acute care facilities, including operating rooms, catheterization labs, endoscopy, sterile processing, imaging, pharmacy, emergency departments, and other critical clinical environments.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and execute a strategic territory business plan to achieve and exceed annual sales goals.
  • Identify, develop, and close new capital equipment opportunities within hospitals and health systems.
  • Manage projects from initial design through installation and customer follow-up.
  • Build strong relationships with hospital leadership, facilities management, clinical engineering, supply chain, nursing leadership, architects, equipment planners, contractors, and distribution partners.
  • Collaborate with architects, designers, and healthcare planners during new construction and renovation projects.
  • Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and educational meetings.
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and forecast using CRM software.
  • Stay informed on healthcare industry trends, competitive products, and construction activity within the territory.
  • Work closely with National Accounts, distributors, and internal teams to maximize territory growth.
  • Represent the company at industry trade shows, conferences, and customer events.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of successful capital healthcare sales experience.
  • Experience selling capital equipment, healthcare storage, healthcare furniture, clinical workspace solutions, or other capital products into hospitals or health systems.
  • Experience working with architects, equipment planners, contractors, or healthcare construction and renovation projects.
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Strong consultative selling, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage complex, long sales-cycle capital projects from specification through installation.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Must reside in Los Angeles County.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the assigned territory.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Existing relationships with hospital systems, architects, equipment planners, or distribution partners within Southern California.
  • Experience with HubSpot or other CRM platforms.
  • Experience working with GPOs (Vizient, Premier, HealthTrust, etc.).
  • Knowledge of hospital capital budgeting, procurement, and equipment planning processes.
  • Experience calling on Facilities, Clinical Engineering, Perioperative Services, Supply Chain, Imaging, or Sterile Processing departments.

Travel

  • Frequent travel throughout the assigned territory.
  • Occasional overnight travel for customer meetings, conferences, and company events.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift demonstration materials and equipment up to 40 pounds.
  • Ability to travel extensively by automobile and commercial airline.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods during customer presentations and trade shows.
