UX Researcher Associate


The UX Researcher Associate is responsible for translating ideas and concepts into low to high fidelity wireframes and prototypes for Auto Club Enterprises (ACE) digital products. This position is responsible for supporting projects in design, development, documentation, and debugging of the user interface to have best possible user experience. Collaborate with product development teams to meet technical business objectives for product design. Communicate and present to key stakeholders regarding user needs and design solutions.

Job Duties

  • Design, prototype, and test information architectures to ensure consistent and unified aesthetic and user experience across all ACE Enterprise digital products. Create intuitive user experiences using design concepts. Translate ideas and concepts into low to high fidelity wireframes and prototypes.

  • Develop, update, and publish the ACE Enterprise style guide and design library. Create production graphic assets for various projects.

  • Research potential problem areas on digital channels (website and mobile applications) or any other member touch point. Translate member solution requirements and define User Experience into User Interface specifications including user research, usability testing, information architecture and interaction design.

  • Facilitate collaborative design workshops with key stakeholders.

  • Work with other members of the product and development team to provide feedback and design consultation. Assist and collaborate with other teams to define, design, deploy and implement features into new and existing applications across multiple digital products and platforms.

  • Communicate and present to key stakeholders regarding user needs and design solutions.

  • Position is responsible for making day to day decisions and problem solving skills.

  • Regularly makes decisions involving the direction of initiatives. Implements plans that may affect the direction of digital product lines. Informs the development and implementation of new processes.


Qualifications

  • Bachelors Equivalent combination of education and experience Preferred

  • 1-3 years User experience design and research or related experience. Preferred

  • Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills

  • Adobe Creative Cloud

  • Sketch, Zeplin, and Adobe XD.

  • Latest versions of HTML/CSS

  • CSS Pre-processors like SASS, LESS

  • Origami a plus.

The starting pay range for this position is:

$74,500.00 - $99,500.00
