The position of warehouse supervisor consists of equipment maintenance, fulfilling orders daily, inventory management to ensure all counts match our numbers and that we have the best quality inventory being sent out to our clientele, provide support to other department leaders, and ensure all station areas are in working condition, clean and organized.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for maintaining kitchen equipment warehouse operation which includes cleaning all equipment and performing preventive maintenance.
  • Supervise team to establish safe working behaviors and work environment. 
  • Communicate with the Warehouse kitchen team in a positive manner to help them solve issues and support them with their work tasks and schedule.
  • Assess daily all incoming dirty kitchen from events to schedule the time needed to clean and partner with Sr. Manager as needed daily for additional help.
  • Ensure daily orders are prioritized to be prepped, picked, and staged for loading to avoid all shortages.
  • Partner with Sr. Manager and Inventory Team on opportunities with inventory quantities and damages.
  • Responsible for training and supporting new team members who join the Kitchen team.

 

Position Requirements:

The services provided by Town & Country Event Rentals is seasonal and will result is varying work hours which at times will require you to work over-time or may result in slower periods. While this is a regular full-time (to 40 hour) position, you may be asked to work overtime (when approved by your manager) or your hours may be reduced at times. Town & Country will do everything possible to maintain a standard work week. This includes supporting other departments such as Dish room, Furniture, Laundry, or Tenting.

Overtime must be approved by your manager prior to being worked. Any reduction in hours will be communicated to you by your manager. Requests to support other departments will be communicated to you by your manager.
