The Opportunity

The Marketing, Finance & Strategy (F&S) team is seeking a talented Associate to inform its strategy for TUDUM.com, social, and brand campaigns, among other responsibilities. In this role, we’re looking for a big-picture thinker, self-starter, and analytical thought partner who will identify opportunities for improvement and set high-level strategy in our emerging business areas. You must thrive in a fast-paced environment and embrace ambiguity and change.

The position is based in our Los Angeles office (hybrid schedule) and will report to the Senior Manager, Marketing Finance & Strategy.

Responsibilities include

  • Analyze data around content and page traffic to recommend improvements to TUDUM.com’s editorial formats.

  • Help the team to deeply understand TUDUM.com’s audience and behavior on the site.

  • Work with data analytics engineers to build reports to surface timely insights to organic social teams around the world.

  • Analyze broader trends on our owned channels to drive social content strategy.

  • Analyze brand health and content viewing behavior within Netflix at large to inform marketing campaign strategies.

  • Partner with marketing leads and data analytics engineers to develop and iterate on success metrics.

  • Influence internal stakeholders at all levels of the organization to take action on business opportunities based on insights generated.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in a top management consulting firm, investment bank, private equity, hedge fund, and/or media/entertainment/tech company in a strategy/business development/analytical role.

  • Excellent proficiency with spreadsheet / presentation software (e.g., Excel, Powerpoint). Working knowledge of statistics is a plus.

  • Strong understanding of consumer behaviors and discovery habits within entertainment, understands how those intersect with content catalog and services.

  • Insatiable curiosity to learn new domains, keep up with industry innovation, and constantly ask ‘why.'

  • Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently and drive alignment amid ambiguity.

  • Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and effectively influence and contribute with concrete recommendations/next steps.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
