Description
Developing new reliability test procedures and specifications while preparing concise and detailed test plans and analyzing test reports. Leveraging statistical analysis to provide comprehensive design risk assessments, and presenting tests, results, and findings in a confident and positive manner to management and executive teams. Continuously researching new technologies to understand unique failure mechanisms, while guiding design decisions and collaborating with diverse cross-functional groups to improve overall product reliability.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Engineering is required 3+ year experience performing product characterization including mechanical stress test, shock/drop/vibration testing, environmental testing
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years of experience in Systems Reliability Excellent written, visual, and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail and curiosity of how technologies work Capable of handling multiple projects at once Dynamic engineer with a proactive attitude and desire to work closely with domestic and international cross-functional teams Statistical experience such as Weibull, JMP, or familiarity with accelerated test models Familiar with Failure Analysis techniques (Optical Microscopy, X-ray/CT, Scanning Electron Microscopy/Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy, etc.), and the ability to use failure analysis methodology to derive a root cause of failure Consumer electronics experience is preferred, but not necessary Ability to travel internationally (up to 10%)
