Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Work in a team-oriented environment by picking, preparing, and palletizing finished goods for shipment – working overtime as needed to accomplish the daily/weekly shipping goals.Â
- Operate forklift or other equipment as required in the movement of material within the distribution center. Complete a daily vehicle inspection report prior to operating any equipment. Responsible for the proper charging of the vehicles after use. Performing light maintenance duties as required (i.e. watering battery properly).Â
- Follows and understands all company and job specific procedures. Â
- Meets all facility standards applied within select departments.Â
- Will pick and stack product according to procedure and special instructions.
- Cross-checking as needed to 100% accuracy.Â
- Pick, check, over pack, consolidate, and process parcel cases as necessary.
- Follow all safety instructions to properly load / unload trailers according to procedure.
- Verify accuracy of shipments received, determine locations for products, and put product into available locations.
- Process returns and ensure that each returned case is properly inspected, stocked, and appropriate paperwork for customer credit is completed. Accuracy, attention to detail, and neatness is expected.
- Use appropriate carrier systems and tools to ship product
- Ensure warehouse documentation is sorted and ready for filing at end of the day
- Audit international shipping documents for completeness and accuracy.
- Work independently and proactively. Clearly communicate with management and department personnel on key issues regarding returns processing.
- Adhere to all good manufacturing practices, Food and Drug guidelines and Drug Enforcement Laws.
- Perform general housekeeping duties.Â
- Work in teams as designated. (i.e. Safety, 5S, Lean, etc)
- Ability to perform basic math calculations
- Must have good verbal and written skills
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Current forklift certification is required; stand-up forklift preferred
- Motorized (electric) pallet jack certification is a plus
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred
- Minimum +1 years warehousing experience
- Oracle experience preferred

- Must be 18 years of age
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
Travel Requirements
- Typically requires travel less than 5% of the time
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear
- Must be able to work safely around heavy equipment in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
