Strategic Legal Practices is seeking a full-time Attorney Resource Group Assistant. The ARG Assistant supports the attorneys in delivering the highest level of service to our clients. As a contributing team member, the ARG specialist is pro-active in balancing multiple assignments. They take personal responsibility for the quality and timeliness of their work product while contributing to the team and maintaining confidentiality.Â
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:Â
- Creates, edits, formats, and proofreads legal documents, spreadsheets, and presentations, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all materialsÂ
- Reviews and edits documents to ensure compliance with applicable federal and state jurisdictional rules and proceduresÂ
- Prepares legal documents for court filing and electronic filingÂ
- Makes and manages hearing reservations, coordinating with court systems and attorney calendarsÂ
- Edit/proofread documentsÂ
- Promptly responds to attorney requests via written, verbal, or electronic communicationÂ
- Effectively and efficiently manages work and information requests, including document management, scheduling, and coordination of Firm resourcesÂ
- Helps attorneys and team members apply new technology to improve efficiency and quality of work productÂ
- Hands off work with detailed instructions to team members so that the work product is not compromisedÂ
- Smoothly handles multiple demands and shifting priorities across all Firm officesÂ
- Perform other responsibilities as assignedÂ
Qualifications:Â
- Experience in a legal environment or professional services preferredÂ
- Adequate knowledge of general office equipment and software operating systemsÂ
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to develop positive working relationships (in-person and virtually)Â
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracyÂ
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with effective organizational skillsÂ
- Proven problem solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skillsÂ
- Ability to receive detailed information through oral and written communicationÂ
- Ability to use a computer monitor, read, create, proofread and transcribe documentsÂ
- Ability to work in a high-pressure deadline driven environmentÂ
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects, with a willingness to accept ownership of projects and be successful in driving project and daily tasks, to a successful conclusionÂ
Experience:Â
- 1-2 years related experienceÂ
- Prior experience working in a high-volume law firm preferredÂ
- BA degree preferredÂ
